ABOUT THE SHOW

A foot-stomping, rafter-raising musical comedy about a fictitious Christian boy band on the last night of their national “Raise the Praise” tour. The Boyz are five all-singing, all-dancing heartthrobs from Ohio: Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham! With their tight harmonies and spectacular choreography, the Altar Boyz delight their audience. Performing a full set, the Boyz question their loyalty to each other and ask whether or not faith is really holding them together. In the end, they deliver a message of unity: “there is no star as bright as its constellation, no harmony in a single voice.”

Dante Woods
Matthew Dante is a young theater artist who graduated from AIC with his bachelors in theater arts. He’s performed on the west coast and on the east coast. He is super excited to be a part of this satirical show and even more excited to share the stage with some incredible people. Nothing fuels his soul more than performing and sharing his art with the world. He would like to thank everyone who comes out to see these performances!

Mark Michael is very excited to make his debut with K and E Theater Group and sends his thanks and

David Webber
Luke David is ecstatic to finally be doing Altar Boyz with KETG! Most recently he got the chance to be a part of KETG’s first Holiday Show Believe and Cabaret. Other roles here include Young Thing in Hello Again, Leon Czolgosz in Assassins, Man 1 in Songs for a New World, and Anthony in Sweeney Todd. Along with performing, he is also a proud Board member of the company. This has been a show he’s been wanting to get the chance to do and he cannot wait to finally help share it with the community!

Michael Luciano
Juan Michael is an aspiring actor from Holyoke! You may have seen him recently as Shrek in Shrek (Opera House Players) or as Tommy in The Who’s Tommy (Exit 7 Players). He is super excited to be doing his first show with K and E Theater Group! Stay tuned for more to come in the near future!

Christopher Marcus
Abraham Christopher Marcus works in I.T. and outdoor education, and is also a composer and streamer working towards writing film/video game scores. Favorite theater roles include Clifford Bradshaw in Cabaret, Jack Kelly in Newsies, and Harold Hill in The Music Man. He has also served as choreographer and assistant director for Valley Light Opera.
